Welcome to the Conroy Family ministry site.  (Please See Immediate Needs)

It is our hope that you will enjoy your visit and possibly develop a good relationship between you & our family, serving the Lord together, and just enjoying fellowship. Most of the time I, George, Sr. will be sharing, but at other times, you will have the blessing of getting to know Linda, or one of the younger ones. We have five children (all grown with families of their own), fifteen grandchildren & three great-grandchildren. We all live different life-styles and have different interests and viewpoints. From time to time, it is our hope that you will have a chance to know them via these pages. We are affliated with International Fellowship of Christian Ministries and with:

URGENT REQUEST

IMPORTANT:

Beloveds, we seek your help in a very delicate matter. Our beloved brother Pastor Hesbon in Kenya had been hospitalized as a result of a serious auto accident. Once ready to discharge, he was held for lack of cash to pay his $850 hospital bill. His wife had to sell the family cow. I sent a very small offering and a promise to bring the matter to your attention. We seldom ask for donations, but this is an emergency. He has been released based on this promise. The police already came to his home once. Pastor Henry, our other new brother visited him in the hospital and his people are trying to help.
Won’t you please send us some small offering to help? Send it to:
           George J. Conroy, Sr.
           3001 Javens Circle #41
           Mount Dora, Florida 32757
We will weekly post an update on the site to advise you of Hesbon’s progress and our progress on the bill. If, the offering goes over, we will advise everyone that we have met the responsibility and the extra money will be donated to the building fund of Hesbon’s church.

A Christmas Opportunity (Give a gift that truly honors our God)

Dear Rev. George and God’s Faithful,

CHRISTMAS GREETINGS FROM GRACE MINISTIES INDIA!
I wish and pray this Christmas that you and your family celebrate and enjoy the peace and joy that exceed understanding and that your blessing will increase forever in Christ. Still we have not been able to buy clothes and gifts for the Orphan children, Leprosy, & Blind people our ministry serves; please pray for our needs meet by God.

If you would please pray for the following urgent Christmas needs:
·         1. For Orphaned children to buy a set of clothes and for a special Christmas
dinner ($360 for 24 children).
·         2. Christmas gifts for those struck with leprosy (50 People currently). We were hoping to provide one outfit and one Christmas cake. The food will cost for $525.
·         3. The Blind people we currently minister to including the men and women (43 members). We hope to provide all of them for Christmas one outfit, totally $500 is needed so please pray for that need.
·         4. The Gypsies we currently minister to, which includes 30 adults and 30 children. To all
these precious souls a lunch on Christmas day and for small children a small toy and
for elders 5 kg rice as a Christmas gift. So the total cost for all these is $125

Please pray for our entire Christmas program, to be conducted successfully. Through this the Lord’s name should be magnified and many people will be saved,  through this ministry all the blind people, widows, lepers, and orphaned children should receive a total joy and happiness, so pray for this thing. Before the birth of Christ Jesus angels came and foretold that Jesus is coming likewise God has selected you and me to foretell the coming of our lord Jesus Christ.

For those of you who dont know, Pastor Linda has recently been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. George and Linda continue to trust in God and prayer. The following is an update from the Conroys regarding this battle:

Hello Dear Ones,
You are all on our minds and in our prayers
these days.
This is just a short note to tell you that
Linda is still in the beginnings of this
war against the Big C as I have heard
it referred to.
Both of us are still in shock and having a
little problem with a touch of depression
here and there.
It's difficult when one has sudden limits to
life as one knows it, with warnings of
possible sudden termination, but when
both of you are hit and then one with
the most feared illness of the day....
well, yes it does have a tendency to be
a kick in the pants.
Fortunately, we both have a loving relationship
with the Lord and trust and have faith that
His purposes are always right.
For the most part we are able to keep our spirits up
and have normal days.
If you think of someone we have not included in this
e-mail and should have, please rush us their e-mail
address.
We will try to send out frequent notes to keep you all up to date. Today
we go to see the oncologist. She is supposed
to start chemotherapy today, but she is
still doubting the wisdom of doing so.

We have gone over it and gone over it with
friends and loved ones, as well as professional
care-givers. She still plans to go for a
second opinion in the next week. Right
now the only certain thing seems that she
will be continue on a strict vegetarian
diet which she believes will eventually
kill the cancer cells and she counts on
prayers...those of each and every one
of you as well as our church family.
Will try to keep you up to date as best
I can. God bless!
